SUMMARY:Connect Adventure Summer Camp - Intermediate: Connect Crew (Ages 9-12)
DESCRIPTION:The Connect Crew is where skills level up—and teamwork becomes the name of the game. \nDesigned for kids who are navigating friendships\, growing independence\, and bigger emotions\, this group blends active challenges\, group games\, and hands‑on projects with real‑life skill practice. \nConnect Crew will work on: \n\nCommunication and collaboration\nProblem‑solving and flexible thinking\nHandling frustration and big emotions\nBuilding stronger peer relationships\nGaining confidence in group settings\n\nCampers will take on crew challenges\, outdoor missions\, games that test strategy and patience\, and reflection time to connect skills to everyday life—without it ever feeling like “work.” \nThink teamwork\, leadership moments\, and learning how to be a great teammate and friend. \n  \nWhen: July 13 to July 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.\nWho can attend: Children ages 9-12 with autism and/or developmental disabilities\nLocation: 54 Brant Ave.\nCost: Thanks to available funding\, the weekly camp rate is subsidized to $500 per camper\nRegistration: To create low-stimulation\, supportive learning environments\, group sizes are limited to a maximum of eight children. With limited space available\, families are encouraged to register early. \nTo learn more or enrol your child\, email autismservices@willowbridge.ca and a member of our team will follow up to complete the registration process and answer any questions you may have.
