Reporting to the Communications & Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for Willowbridge’s creative and visual image across the community. This role is a story-telling role that helps create, build, and maintain the stories and values of our Willowbridge Community with written narratives, creative assets, and imagery.
The successful candidate will be jointly responsible for communications support, content production, grants, graphic design, social media, and marketing. They will play an integral part in the planning, strategy, and implementation of creative works at Willowbridge.

About The Role:
- – Create stories that connect – Write and produce content for our website, social media, newsletters, speeches, reports, and more—ensuring accessibility and inclusive language that speaks to our diverse community.
- – Keep our digital spaces fresh – Update our website (WordPress), social media, program calendars, banners, and news so our community always knows what’s happening.
- – Help us grow through grants – Support the Executive Director and Communications & Project Manager in researching, planning, and writing grant applications and funding proposals.
- – Design with purpose – Create digital and print materials using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Premiere, and AI tools—keeping accessibility, AODA, and brand guidelines in mind.
- – Capture the moments that matter – Take photos and videos at programs and events, manage our image library, and create visual content to showcase Willowbridge’s work.
- – Support events and outreach – Assist with community event planning, event volunteers, participation, and event photography.
- – Drive digital marketing – Manage and grow our digital footprint through social media, website analytics, ad placements, and targeted campaigns to expand our reach.
- – Share our story and grow support – Assist with marketing and fundraising campaigns, social media, and donor recognition efforts.
- – Manage email marketing – Maintain mailing lists and create email campaigns to keep clients, partners, and supporters connected (MailChimp).
- – Support strategy and storytelling – Help implement our communications plan, contribute to strategic planning, and bring Willowbridge’s brand and story to life.
- – Keep us stocked and ready – Track and manage marketing materials, swag, and event supplies so we’re always ready for outreach.
What We’re Looking For:
- -University degree or college Diploma in graphic design, visual arts, multimedia design, communications, marketing, or related field
- – Professional written communication and editing.
- – Demonstrated experience producing original graphics using Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent.
- – Two years’ experience with social media and digital resources, marketing, and communications.
- – Understanding of AODA accessibility requirements
- – Experience with videography, video editing and production considered an asset.
- – Highly organized with high attention to detail, superior time management skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simutaneously.
- – Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
- – Ability to work and make decisions independently and without direct supervision.
- – Ability to prioritize and deal with multiple projects and changing deadlines.
