Women’s Specific Counselling Services
At Willowbridge we understand that women have unique experiences and challenges. For many women, gender stereotyping, violence and abuse, health, self doubt, and unhealthy relationships can be difficult challenges to overcome alone. Often, the expectation to put others before yourself is overwhelming, leading to burnout and feeling like you’ve lost yourself. Women are roughly 40% more likely to develop a mental illness than men are, and are twice as likely to view themselves negatively. Feelings of self doubt, self loathing, and low self esteem can make it difficult to lead a life you can celebrate.
If you feel alone, lost, or overwhelmed and don’t know where to start, begin here. We can offer you a place of safety and strength as we work together on your happiness.
Thankfully, you don’t have to face your struggles alone. At Willowbridge Community Services, our counsellors provide support as you set healthy boundaries, learn new skills for coping, and reframe negative self-image for a more positive future. We focus on improving relationships, healing from past hurts, and moving forward with healthier behaviours.
