Addictions

If you’ve struggled with addiction, you know that it can take over your life. It can ruin relationships, destroy your finances, cause mental illness, create legal problems, and lead to profound shame. Many addicts feel powerless to stop their addiction and that they must simply watch as their lives fall to pieces around them.

Reclaim your life

At Willowbridge Community Services, we know that addiction is not the result of a lack of willpower. Addiction is usually a response to trauma, and can help an addict avoid feelings of depression, worthlessness, shame, terror, or loneliness. We believe that the only way to treat addiction is to begin to heal the wounds that triggered the addiction, and to provide strategies to overcome overwhelming emotions and to respond to stress in healthier ways.

If you’re struggling to overcome your addiction, it’s not too late to get support. There’s a better way to live. Our counsellors are experienced, confidential, and non-judgemental.
